Dine Out for Heroes returns for the second year in a row! The Bob Woodruff Foundation has teamed up with top chefs and restaurateurs from across NYC to bring you Dine Out for Heroes, a week-long initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for injured service members.

Restaurants that were moved to participate in the initiative gave a contribution to The Bob Woodruff Foundation in support of their mission. Diners can get involved by supporting NYC-area restaurants like this one that are helping give back to those who have given so much. Participating restaurants are listed online at www.bobwoodrufffoundation.org/dine4heroes2015.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation helps ensure that post-9/11 injured service members, veterans and their families succeed after they return home. American Express Eligible Card Members — enroll your card at amexnetwork.com/dineoutforheroes for the Dine Out for Heroes offer and you will get a $5 statement credit after you spend $25 or more in a single transaction, every time you dine with your enrolled Card at participating restaurants during Dine Out for Heroes.

Don’t forget to use #Dine4Heroes on Instagram and Twitter to tag your experience and follow the event! Prizes will be given to the photos that earn the most votes. Enter to win a chance to receive two tickets to Stand Up For Heroes 2016, the 10th anniversary of our star-studded night of hope, healing, and laughter featuring iconic entertainers such as Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, Jim Gaffigan, and more! Additional prizes include gift cards to top NYC restaurants.

More About The Bob Woodruff Foundation

The Bob Woodruff Foundation was cofounded in 2006 by award-winning ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff and his family after he sustained serious injuries while covering the Iraq War. Their own experiences inspired them to make sure our nation’s heroes have access to the resources they deserve. The Bob Woodruff Foundation navigates the maze of more than 46,000 nonprofits that serve veterans. It finds, funds, and shapes innovative programs that help our heroes and their families through three key areas: education and employment; rehabilitation and recovery; and quality of life. Since its founding in 2006, the Bob Woodruff Foundation has invested more than $30 million; reached more than 2 million veterans, their families and caregivers; and shaped more than 275 programs in the communities they call home. You can take a stand for heroes on social media using the hashtags #Dine4Heroes and #Stand4Heroes.
